What to Expect

GINKGO GALORE™ unfolds across the streets, greens, and grounds of Wilmore from morning to evening. The day opens with the Ginkgo GO 5K and closes with Abe Parker unplugged. In between, the town fills with live music, juried art, artisan vendors, storytelling, kids' activities, food trucks, and the warm slow beauty of a Kentucky autumn.

Three tracks anchor the day:

  • Art

Nationally recognized painters, sculptors, and craftspeople. From a custom Persian ginkgo rug to ginkgo leaf print jewelry, the art ranges from the exquisite to the personal.
  • Music

An open-genre lineup. A regional cover band phenomenon drawing 5,000–7,000 fans across the tri-state area, performs midday. Rising national artist Abe Parker closes the evening with an unplugged solo set.
  • More

The "more" is what makes this festival unlike any other. Dovetail events hosted by local nonprofits, businesses, and community organizations run throughout the day — tree raffles, film festivals, scavenger hunts, homeschool arborist labs, toddler play spaces, and storytelling stages.
