Volunteer Opportunities
The GINKGO GALORE™ Arts + Music Festival relies on dedicated volunteers to create an exceptional experience for our guests, artists, vendors, and community. Explore the opportunities below and select the role(s) that best match your interests and availability.
Operations & Logistics
Setup & Tear-Down Crew
Help prepare the festival before opening and assist with breakdown after the event. Responsibilities include lifting and moving equipment, setting up tents, tables, chairs, signage, and other event materials.
Parking Attendants
Welcome guests as they arrive, direct traffic, guide vehicles to designated parking areas, and help ensure safe and efficient traffic flow throughout the day.
Signage Team
Install and maintain directional signs, event schedules, parking signs, and safety notices to help guests easily navigate the festival grounds.
Guest Services
Admissions & Ticketing
Scan tickets, distribute wristbands, welcome attendees, and assist with general admission questions to create a smooth entry experience.
Information Booth & Lost and Found
Serve as a friendly resource for festival guests by providing maps, answering questions, directing visitors to activities, and managing lost-and-found items.
Entertainment & Vendor Support
Performer Check-In
Welcome musicians and performers, assist with check-in, escort them to designated areas, and help ensure they arrive at their scheduled performance locations.
Hospitality Team
Support performers, volunteers, and crew by restocking refreshments, serving meals, and keeping hospitality areas clean and organized.
Vendor Support
Provide short relief breaks for food and artisan vendors so they can take a restroom break or grab a meal without leaving their booths unattended.
Sustainability & Guest Safety
Green Team
Help keep the festival clean and beautiful by monitoring recycling and waste stations, encouraging proper disposal, and maintaining common areas throughout the day.
Guest Safety & Lost Child Assistance
Provide general assistance to festival guests, help reunite separated children with their families, and communicate any safety concerns to festival leadership.
Festival Floater
Enjoy a variety of responsibilities throughout the day by assisting wherever help is needed most. Floaters provide flexible support across guest services, vendor assistance, hospitality, logistics, and special projects, helping ensure the festival runs smoothly.
Volunteer Shifts
Select the shift(s) that work best for your schedule.
Shift 1 | 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Includes early arrival for final event setup, admissions, parking, and opening preparations before guests arrive.
Shift 2 | 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Supports peak attendance with guest services, vendor assistance, admissions, and hospitality.
Shift 3 | 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Assists with afternoon guest services, information booth operations, venue upkeep, and ongoing vendor support.
Shift 4 | 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Supports evening activities, guest departures, parking, post-event teardown, and final site cleanup.
